The sale of the old church property overlooking the water at Terrigal allowed the church to relocate and increase the size of the church hall. The sale contract for the old site included a date by which the church had to provide vacant possession to the developer. With a deadline for vacating the Terrigal site, the church had limited time to complete the design and build their new facilities.
In order to meet the tight timeframe the client formed a project team consisting of the client, architect and builder, then entered into a negotiated project management contract with Norths. Norths were responsible for all aspects of the project from engagement and coordination of all consultants to budget control and construction. The completed project includes a school hall, church, offices, presbytery and carpark.
